Natural Skin Care – Going Organic

All organic skincare products originate from all natural ingredient sources and are guaranteed by the manufacturer that they are eco-friendly. Ingredients are certified by the USDA, a federal agency that maintains its own industry standard. Products with 95% organic ingredients can be labeled “Organic” and those with less than 70% organic ingredients can only list organic ingredients on the side panel. This labeling helps the consumer in selecting the correct organic skin product. It is also very important to note that a product labeled “natural” does mean organic and it has not necessarily been certified by the USDA. Continue reading »
